It has been six years since IIT Hyderabad has been established. In this period, the college has developed in several ways setting up high standards.IITH offers undergraduate as well as postgraduate with research oriented education.Currently the students and faculty of IIT Hyderabad are working on 95 sponsored projects and 33 consultancy projects with total fundeing about 72 crores. We have strong future research interests and capability . Many future labs like biooptics ,quantum x-lab are under progress.
IIT Hyderabad evolved as a world class institution offering multidisciplinary and challenging courses apart from the traditional courses to meet the present students research interests.Apart from extreme facilities , highly motivated faculty and students made research a craft , attracting researchers all over the world.
Right since its inception, IIT Hyderabad was very keen in establishing and maintaining strong bond with foreign universities. It has collaborated with many world class institutions like The Georgia Institute of Technology, The University of Illinois, The Osaka University and lots more.
It has strong relation with Japan, student and faculty exchange program is a part of it enhancing friendly nature between two countries in terms of research and social benefits.
IIT-H does not forget that one of the most important part of an engineer's skillset is his/her exposure and awareness of the current industry. IIT-H, thus, maintains active collaborations with several MNCs and other successful endemic enterprises. Some of the well-known names include Hyundai Motors, Mercedes Benz R&D India, NVidia Technology and several others.
